New LAS Scholarship to Support Internships, Research, Volunteering

The College of LAS wants to support you in a professional development experience this summer or fall. If you want to gain professional development experience through an internship, research project, service project, or related work and you need funding to be able to do so, check out the new Life + Career Design scholarship. The scholarship will supportĀ  living, transportation, or other expenses as you undertake an experience in a work environment that will help you prepare for a career.

Visit the Life + Career Design Lab to explore internship, research, and service opportunities that are right for your interests and direction. (We’re also happy to help you with this here in the Humanities Professional Resource Center.) Students are strongly encouraged to visit the lab before submitting a scholarship application to ensure you understand the process and make the best case possible for your need. Scholarship recipients will receive up to $5,000 in needed support. Applications can be submitted at any time between now and March 31.

For more information including additional criteria and requirements, to find opportunities for summer and fall, or to apply please visit the Life + Career Design website.
